Devotion and service are the way to come closer to your Spiritual Master and Radha Krishn. Both devotion and service are required for Spiritual progress. At Barsana Dham, myriad opportunities are provided for each.

One way to increase devotion is through satsang at the Temple. The article, “What is satsang?” provides an in-depth explanation of ‘Sat’ meaning ‘Divine’ and ‘sang’ meaning ‘association’—thus “satsang” means “association with the Divine.”

On the Satsang at Barsana Dham page, you can read about the various parts of satsang including their significance and order as practiced at Barsana Dham.

Through servitude and surrender, a devotee attains Divine vision. The Activities available at Barsana Dham, whether volunteer opportunities, learning Hindi, taking a class in yog or joining the summer dance camp, are all considered as ways to render service to your supreme Beloveds and develop your ability to love them selflessly.

Special weekend programs held occasionally at Barsana Dham are an excellent way to spend some concentrated time in both devotion and service. These weekends include extra times of group chanting as well as service projects of various kinds that allow everyone to offer devotional service at the temple.
